The Perkins County Conservation District is looking toward its second season of offering the Fencing, Pipeline, and Cover Crop cost share program. This program offers cost share to be used towards cross fencing, livestock water tank and pipeline installation, and cover crop and grass seeding practices. The FPCC Cost Share Program aims to improve both pastureland and crop land by encouraging producers to rest and rotate pasture as well as improve soil health and cover on crop land. PCCD is currently taking applications and looking to gauge interest. All interested individuals should call the office or stop by to discuss potential projects.
