The Perkins County Conservation District is offering one (1) $500.00 scholarship available to any current year graduate attending a high school within Perkins County Conservation District boundaries (i.e. Bison High School, or Lemmon High School).

2025 Conservation Award Nominations

The Perkins County Conservation District is soliciting nominations for the following awards to be recognized at the PCCD Winter Workshop & Awards Luncheon on February 19, 2025.

DUE DATE: JANUARY 31, 2025

  • This award is meant to recognize individuals or operations that have demonstrated innovation, experimentation, and passion in both agriculture and conservation. It also looks to showcase those who share their experience with others in an effort to improve our natural resources

  • With this award, we hope to recognize not only teachers by profession, but teachers by passion. Recipients of this award will demonstrate advocacy for agriculture, education and outreach of all ages, and promotion of agriculture and conservation.

  • This award aims to bring recognition to those folks that have shown effort and experimentation in utilizing shelterbelts for livestock, soil, or homestead protection as well as wildlife habitat, aesthetics, or multiple purposes.
